Veterans, their families, and the community are welcome to join us at the Santa Barbara Cemetery for a free one-hour ceremony honoring all who have died in military service to our country.

A patriotic concert of marches by John Philip Sousa and classic Americana from George M. Cohen, Leonard Bernstein, Scott
Joplin and more! Come early to claim your spot on the grass; bring your picnic, beach chairs and blankets for this free, time-honored Santa Barbara tradition.

The 56th Annual Parade marches down State Street from Micheltorena Street to Cota Street.

23rd Annual Military Ball , Saturday November 2, 2019

Veterans, active duty military members, and guests are invited to enjoy a memorable night when we honor Women in Service, and live music, dancing, and dinner.

The 23rd Annual Military Ball will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Military Ball is a formal evening where veterans, active duty military members, and other community members can mingle over a cocktail hour, gourmet three-course dinner, and dancing. Guests will also have a chance to bid on extraordinary historic artifacts among other items in a silent auction before the program begins.

Veterans Day Parade, Saturday November 9, 2019

A free, star-spangled event you won’t soon forget!

Starting at 12 noon, the Santa Barbara Veterans Parade will begin at the intersection of E. Sola and State and end at the Carriage and Western Art Museum of Santa Barbara, 129 Castillo St. The parade will feature WWII vehicles and re-enactors and heroes from all branches of the military.

Show your support for our veterans and watch the parade as it makes its way down State Street.

Salute to Vets, Saturday November 9, 2019

Join us along with the Santa Barbara Veterans Foundation on Saturday, November 10 for an afternoon complete with BBQ, live music and military vehicles on display.

This annual event will be held at the Carriage and Western Art Museum of Santa Barbara, 129 Castillo St. from noon to 5:00 p.m. Entry fee will be $20 and includes five raffle tickets. Lunch is $10, or a package including entry, lunch, and 10 raffle tickets can be purchased for $30. Veterans and children under 12 are free. Veterans Day Ceremony, Monday November 11, 2019

Honor our country’s veterans by joining the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1649 and Pierre Claeyssens Veterans Foundation on Sunday, November 11 for a moving, one-hour ceremony at the Santa Barbara Cemetery, 901 Channel Dr. A keynote speaker and special appearance by the Santa Barbara Choral Society will serve as a poignant tribute to all veterans. The ceremony will begin promptly at 10 a.m.
